Duties and responsibilities: A dental assistant is required to do many tasks like interpersonal and technical skills. They have to assist the dentist during treatment procedures .They may also have to develop dental radiographs A.K.A. ( X -Rays ). They have to attend the patient by asking them their medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse. They are the ones who have to prepare and/or sterilize instruments and equipment.

Education: To be a dental assistant you don’t need special education. Some dental assistants only have a high school diploma. To become a dental assistant you are required to take a dental assisting program. Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

In my point of view I don’t think that I would want to be a dental assistant. The reason why I wouldn't want to be one is because a dental assistant is not a really big deal. Dental assistants are just like helpers and aren't really important. I would want to be something more important like the actual dentist or a doctor.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

I think that I would want to be a Dental lab technician. The reason why I think this is because I think that to become one you don’t need a lot of education. This career pays well and it is in the medical field which is something that I want to do. Also there was a time when I wanted to become a dentist or a dentist assistant so I think that I would be interested in a career like this.

“It may make a difference to all eternity whet her we do right or wrong today.”
                    James Freeman Clark

Reflection: I agree with what james is saying in this quote.I think that if we do something really bad one day it might affect you later on in life.If we start choosing the wrong since we are young we might end up doing the same when we are older.

   Student success statement

“Doing what is right, fair and honorable is more important than winning or losing.”

Chick Moorman

For example: Honesty and victory

Reflection: I agree with what Chick Moorman is saying in this quote. I think that I wouldn’t consider a winner if he or she is not doing the right and fair. For example if a person is playing a game and they cheat or they do something wrong while playing it and that causes them to win they are not considered a winner. That would be choosing the wrong and that wouldn’t be fair to themselves or others. They would not be honored for choosing the wrong. In the other hand if a person chooses the right and goes by the rules but they lose the game people would see the like winners. They would see them like that because they chose the right and they played fair. People are going to honor them.

         Student success statement

1. Have the courage to say no.
2. Have the courage to face the truth.
3. Do the right thing because it is right.
These are the 3 magic keys to living your life with integrity.”

              W. Clement Stone

Reflection: I agree with this. The reason why I agree with this is because a life without doing these things is bad. If you never have the courage to say no you are going to make really bad decisions in life. If you never learn to say no people are going to boss you around or tell you what to do. If you don’t have the courage to face the truth you would always have a fear to knowing the truth. Finally if you don’t do the right things in life a lot of bad things are going to fall on you. If you don’t choose the right 24/7 you may make some pretty bad decisions that you will regret in the future.
    Integrity
1. Definition: Integrity is when you are honest or you have strong moral principles. Someone that has honesty and honor.
Words that mean the same: honesty, probity, rectitude, honor, righteousness, truthfulness.
Examples: A person who chooses the right has integrity.
A person who doesn't, lie, drink alcohol, or do drugs has integrity.
People who mind their own business have integrity.
A person who does what they are supposed to do and don’t break the rules have integrity.
People who give good advice or tell someone who choose the right have integrity.
People who don’t use bad language at all have integrity.
