Photographer

Duties and responsibilities:  A professional photographer takes photographs to earn money. I  n the other hand an amateur photographer take photographs for fun without getting paid.  A photographer creates and prepares photographic images to display in a variety of published mediums. It selects and assembles equipment according to subject and material, and knowledge of function of various types of cameras like lenses, films, and accessories. It may mix chemicals, and process film and photographic paper.

Salary: $37,659-$75,763

Education: To become a photographer you may have to have an associate’s degree with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. You have to be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.

I think that if I do not get to get a career in the medical field becoming a professional photographer wouldn’t be such a bad idea. They don’t get a bad salary and I think that it would be something fun to do for a living.

Reflection: What this quote means is that if you set a goal to be something or be a certain way you would most likely be the way you see yourself. If you see yourself as a teacher in the future then you would most likely be a teacher in the future because you are setting a goal to do something and you would accomplish it. In my 100+ goals I put things that I would want to do in the future. I put things that I want to see myself do and I will accomplish it. You see yourself as you want to be seen.

Reflection: I agree with what Henry David is saying in this statement. The reason why I also think this is true is because I don’t see how you can get in trouble or have problems when you are doing the right thing. When you do something good it never fails. For example if you do something bad like drugs or something like that it will end up as something bad in the future it will bring consequences in your life.

Reflection: I think this statement by Theodore Hesburgh is giving a correct message. When you are going to make a decision you don t have to be forced to make the bad decisions. You should always think about what you are going to do and then make the good decision. For example if someone comes up to you and they tell you to smoke with them you know that this may make you a cool person and others will look at you better but you also know that it is not the correct thing to do. If you look at that person and you tell them that you want to choose the right and not do what others want you to do they make look at you like a boring and an unfair person but you know that you are choosing the right.

   Licensed Practical Nurse

Duties and responsibilities:  licensed practical nurses provide basic nurture care. These nurses monitor patients like they take their blood pressure. They administer patient care which means that they remove bandages and insert catheters. They help patients bathe and dress and they listen to their concerns. They also keep records of patient’s health and much more.

Salary: $41,540-$57,360

Education: To become one you first have to finish an approved educational program. These programs give you a certificate in about 1 year. These programs combine subjects like nursing, biology, and pharmacology.

I think that I wouldn’t want to have this career forever but I think that I would want a job like this to start with. Later on I would want to do something that would pay more and would be more advanced than just a nurse that takes care of people. They do have a pretty fair salary so I think that I would want to do this for a while.

Reflection: I agree with what Joseph smith is saying in this reflection. I also think that we should make the people who do well popular and make the people who do badly unpopular. The reason why there is so many people doing bad stuff are because we choose to make the bad people popular. If we make the good people popular there will be more good people than bad. An example that I can give is imagine that there is an artist who does really bad things like drugs and bad language. People are going to be influenced by that person and start doing the same. If there is a good artist in the other hand that does good stuff and help others people are going to be influenced in doing good things. 

          Home Health Aide

Duties and responsibilities: A home health aide has many responsibilities some responsibilities that it has are they have to assist others with personal tasks like helping to keep homes safe and clean. They allow the people who need a higher level of care the opportunity to live on their own. In some states they allow them to check vital signs and administer medication.

Salary: $21,020 or $10.10/ hour

Education: You do not need a license to become a home health aide you might need certification. I order to be certified you are supposed to pass an exam after 75 hours of training and skills. If you don’t have a high school diploma you will not have fewer opportunities for advancement.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one?

In my opinion I don’t think that I would want to be a home health aide. The reason why I wouldn’t want to be a home health aid is because they don’t have a good salary. Also to become a home health aid you really don’t have any education which makes me think that anyone can be one and it wouldn’t really be a good career.
