Reflection: I agree with James freeman. The reason why I agree with him is because I think that whenever we do something bad it will stay with us for the rest of our lives. If we decide to choose the right today and tomorrow and all the other days and then for once you decide to do something bad it will never go away. That bad deed would stay with you forever. It will always make a difference whether you do something bad in you life. For example if you rob a bank and later on when you get out of jail you decide to choose the right and be a better person. Well by that time everyone is going to think of you as a bad person. That’s why it is important to choose the right always because it may affect you in the future. 

An Actor (or actress)

Duties and responsibilities: An actor performs in movies; they perform in live theatre productions, at theme parks, and in television shows also commercials.

Salary: $34,672- $74,272

Education: A degree is not required to become an actor or an actress. There are bachelor’s degree programs for drama if wanted.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

In my opinion I think that being an actress can be a pretty fun career. It may be a lot of money within it if you are a really good actor or actress. The problem with it is that I don’t really think an actor or an actress is something that I would want to be. I think that I am more interested in the medical field and it may be a really big possibility that I wouldn’t become a really good actress. I am a little shy around big audiences so I think I wouldn’t want to be  one.

             “Bless you”

  Whenever someone sneezes, you say “Bless you” or hear someone else say     these words.

Why? Why are these words spoken?

These words are spoken because many people had superstitions. Some people thought that a sneeze caused the soul to escape from their nose. If they said bless you it would impede the devil from getting the freed soul. Other people thought the opposite. They believed that when you sneeze evil spirits would enter the person’s body. Some people thought that the heart temporarily stops during a sneeze and by saying bless you it will welcome the person back.

When? When did this saying originate?

This saying originated thousands of years ago. It was originated in the six century.

How? How did this saying originate?

 This saying originated by Pope Gregory the great. He uttered it in the sixth century during the bubonic plague epidemic. The first signs of the bubonic plague were a sneeze so saying “Bless you” you was a version of last rites. It means to stay alive and live long.

When you visually see your 100+ Righteous goals- you are mentally seeing your future. Now create your future reality one goal at a --a-time, one victory after another.

Reflection: I agree with Charles. The reason why I agree with him is because if you set goals in your life you will always try to achieve them. This means that if you plan out your future and you set your goals the biggest possibility will be that you will achieve those goals in the future. For example if you want to be a doctor when you grow up and you want to own a car and a house with a pool you will try your best to receive those things in the future and it’s all because you planned it.

Reflection: In my opinion I think that Rachel Castillo is an awesome person. The reason why I think she is an awesome person is because she chose the right thing to do in a really tough situation. When Rachel found the bag filled with 36,000 dollars she decided to look into the bag to see if there was identification. It didn’t go through her head about spending the money or keeping it to herself. The first thing that she thought of was looking for the owner and giving it all back. After finding the identification of an old man of 7o years of age she decided to give it to the police department to search for the owner. She did something that not a lot of people would have done because she is a ctr woman.

    Health information Specialist

Duties and responsibilities: They help protect the accuracy and ensure the accuracy of patient’s medical records. They work with patient care data and ensure proper insurance payment. So they are pretty much the ones who do the paper work for patients.

Salary: $37,710

Education: You have to be familiar with medical vocabulary and insurance coding techniques. You have to have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree. The school has to be accredited by cahiim.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one; in my opinion I think that I wouldn’t want to be a health information specialist. The reason why I wouldn’t want to be one is because I would want to be a person who only does paper work. I would want to work in something where I can help people and is more exciting or more of a challenge than just sit in a desk.

Reflection: In my opinion I think that you should always ask yourself this question. If you start thinking on something that will cause something good for you and something bad for another person you should always ask yourself this question because it may help you. If you are thinking of something wrong to do and you ask this question you may end up choosing the right after all. In the other hand if you start thinking of choosing the wrong the biggest possibility is that you will choose the wrong after all.

                   Integrity

In my opinion I think that myles is a really good kid. He showed a really good example of integrity. If it would have been another person the first thing that would have happened would be that he would keep the money and spend it on them. Myles decided to do something better. When he found the 20 dollar bill in the parking lot the first thing that went through his head was how he was going to spend it. Then when he saw the soldier he thought about his dad and how he had died as a soldier who fought for our country. Then he made a note for the soldier and put the 20 dollar bill in it and gave it to him. In the note the soldier read thank you for your serves. After that he decided to go see his dad and talk about what he had done. The video was very inspiring it inspired me to try to be giving like he was.

Reflection: I agree with Alexander Pope. When you act well and you choose the right you have honor. When you choose the right it means that you are responsible and you don’t do bad thing like lie you try to always choose the right and talk with the truth. All of this shows honor people will treat you with respect and think of you as a god person. On the other hand if you always choose to do the wrong you have no honor you have no integrity. People will judge you and see you as a bad person. 

Environmental Health Specialist

Duties and responsibilities: Some duties and responsibilities that health specialist has are they are supposed to conduct inspections of facilities including retail, wholesale, mobile and nonprofit food establishments and vendors; public private and water systems. Hotels, motels, swimming pools pretty much almost everything. They have to issue notices of violation and desist orders to illegal food vendors. They have to collect random samples of food, soil, water, and animals that might cause contamination.  They have to do many more things that might affect the people.

Salary: $49,000-$76,273

Education: You must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in which includes a satisfactory completion of at least 45 quarter hours or 32 semester hours of academic work in basic science courses that include biology, chemistry, physics, environmental health, epidemiology, public health and many more.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

In my opinion I think that I would want to be one. The reason why I would like to be one is because it might be pretty fun searching for things that might cause damage to our environment. It may help me find out ways to keep my house the way it’s supposed to be and notice if their might be anything wrong around where I live. They pay a really good annual salary which might help me a lot and no experience is required. There might be a lot of time of education taken but it is worth it.

Reflection: In my opinion I agree with George Washington. The reason why u agree with George Washington is because why would you want to have bad company. Bad company is not the right thing to have because with bad company you will have bad results. Having bad company would hurt you because nothing good can come out of doing bad things. For example there are some kids in school that want to be friends with you and they smoke and they do and things. It is better to stay away from them because if you become friends with them the biggest possibility is that you end up being like them in the future. On the other hand if you choose to stay alone you make your own decisions.

2. What is the purpose of president’s day?

It is also celebrated as George Washington’s birthday. It is a holiday celebrated in honor of the first president of the United States and its successors.

President’s day is on the third Monday of February.

4.What are a few ways to show honor and respect

A few ways to show honor and respect are to view it as a time of patriotic celebration and resemblance. You can make celebrations in that day or go to the Saint Patrick’s cathedral in New York to honor Washington.

Reflection: I agree with victor Hugo. 

The reason why I agree with him is because even for the most little mistake that you made it makes everything wrong. The things that are considered to be done right have to start right and end right. An example that I can give is if you had homework for a class and you forgot to do it so you start doing your homework and then you start copying your partner that is not right. You committed something wrong and that makes everything wrong.

           History of Basketball

1.                      Who invented Basketball?

The person who invented basketball was called James Naismith.

2.                      Where?

It was invented in Springfield Massachusetts by James Naismith.

3.                      When?

It was invented in the year 1891

4.                      How?

Dr. Naismith had to invent a game that could be played indoors to provide an athletic distraction. He wanted to invent a game of skill, finesse and accuracy with the help of an old game he played when he was young called duck on a rock, two peach baskets and a soccer ball the game basketball was born.

5.                      Why?

It was made for the purpose of conditioning students during the winter.

6.                      What were the circumstances at the beginning?

It was to make it fair for all players and not to be rough.

7.                      What was it like at the start?

In the beginning it consisted of peach baskets and a soccer style ball.

8.                      What types of shots were taken?

The players earned points by tossing the ball successfully into the peach baskets. They were able to toss the ball with one or two hands if they wanted.

9.                      How is basketball different today than when it first started?

Basketball did change during the years. More fouls were started to get called and if the player was hit when shooting it was a foul. The shots started to count for more points like now there are shots that are 1 point and two points. Dribbling was also something new. The net and the court were also changed.

Duties and responsibilities: Veterinarians have many duties and responsibilities. Some duties and responsibilities are that they administer vaccines, do health checkups, clean teeth, fix broken bones, treat skin infections and perform surgeries. There may involve inspecting the living spaces of animals like farms or ranches like this they will see if they have caught an infection because of their living space. The veterinarians also have to give lethal injections when they are very old or terminally ill. They also have to be comfortably with people.

Salary: $86,000-$149,000

Education: It usually takes about four years to earn a doctor of veterinary medicine. It may be possible to get accepted to a college of veterinary medicine without earning a bachelor’s degree at first. Most students first finish their undergraduate degree before enrolling.

 In my opinion I would want to be a veterinarian. I really like animals and helping the animals in need. The tough part about becoming a veterinarian is watching the animals suffer or putting them to sleep. I think that a veterinarian would be something that I would want to have as a career. They also have a good annual payment.

He had to fix the errors that his father had made and that is something others wouldn’t do he apologized for something he didn’t do but for something that his father did. Instead of forgetting about the lady and spending the money without caring he decided to return it non matter how much he wanted to go on his band trip. This was a touching story because of how much of a heart Christian has. I think that there should be much more people like this in the world because not everything has to only benefit you have to think about the others as well.

                Count Leo Tolstoy 

Reflection: I think that Count is right. You may be asked sometime who lives. You may think everyone who is breathing lives. Well you are wrong you may be alive but you are not living. Those people who choose the right live a good life. The people who don’t lie don’t rob and choose to do the things without cheating and the right way they end up living their life correctly with no problems and the correct way. They are not bothered by people or are punished like the ones who don’t choose to live right by the rules. For example if you are a person who gets a career and lives your life going by the rules you live a happy life you get to enjoy life. But those who don’t choose the right and end up in prison or don’t get a job they don’t live their life happy they live their life in misery. 

Western Medicine Doctor

Duties and responsibilities: They diagnose, and treat patients. They can specialize in a number of medical areas such as pediatrics and anesthesiology they can also work as general practice physicians. They use examinations and test to diagnose their patients. Western proscribe medications like drugs.

Salary:$183,940-$235,070

Education: You need at least a bachelor’s degree and a premedical or science degree. You also need coursework in biology physiology and others.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one?

In my opinion I think that I would want to become a western medicine doctor. One of the reasons why I would want to be one is because it is in the medical field. I think that if I become a western medical doctor it will be something that will help me and my family in the future. The salary is good for a living.
