                 Final: Part 2

A.  Things that I liked about this class was we that in this class learn about medical careers and that will help us in the future. I also like how Mr. Haymore encourages us to choose the right. I don’t think I have things that I don’t like about this class.
B. How we can improve in this class is by getting more time in our typing tutor.
C. I think that I didn’t do my best in this class. I think that at the beginning I was talking a little too much but then I stopped.
D.        I try reading my 100+ goals daily but sometimes I forget to put my journal in my backpack and I forget it.
E.  I think that I am commited to being a CTR person. I try to always choose the right and what is best.
F.  I promise that I will always try my best in most of the things that I do like at school and in my extra activities like at home.

“When I do good I feel good.
“When I do bad I feel bad.
Abraham Lincoln

Reflection: I agree with Mr. Abraham Lincoln. When someone does something good they will always feel good because they know they did something right. When a person does something bad they will always feel bad because no one is ever going to feel good about something bad. For example if you cheat on a test that is something bad and you get an 100% on it because you cheated you might feel a little happy but at the same time you will feel really bad because you didn’t choose the right and it will always stay in your head that you cheated. On the other hand if you took a test without cheating and you got a 100% because you studied for it you will feel extremely glad of yourself because you did something good choosing the right.

“Take responsibility for your own body, mind, and spirit, for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.”
                          Mr. Haymore

Reflection: I agree with what M. Haymore is saying in this quote. You have to always take responsibility for whatever you do. If you get a bad grade on a test it’s because you didn’t study or didn’t choose to do the right thing. You cannot blame it on the teacher or anybody else because the consequence happened because of you. For example if you are under a lot of stress because you didn’t finish something in time it’s all your fault because you have to take responsibility of your actions and don’t blame other people for your actions.

Student Success Statement
“We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn’t do.”
Richard L. Evans

Reflection: In my opinion I think that Richard is right with what he is saying in this quote. I think that we should start and continue what we should do. People should start doing good things and choosing the right. There are many people who choose the wrong only because they don’t have the courage to start doing what other people aren’t doing. The people who do the wrong things and choose the wrong need to stop doing that. The only reason why they choose the wrong is because they don’t have the courage to stop.

Patrick chose the wrong

The Sting

Patrick is a young boy who decided to choose the wrong. His parents had told him to always put shoes on when going out for a walk. His laziness and his disobedience made him get a consequence for choosing the wrong. While he was walking through the dessert he felt that something had stung him. It was a scorpion. By choosing the wrong Patrick had to suffer the pain of the consequence. From that day forward he decided to choose the right and listen to his parents for his own good.

     “Always do the right.”
             Mark Twain

Reflection: I agree with what Mark Twain is saying in this quote. I agree with it because I also think that we should always choose the right. Every single thing that we do should be something that we think is right. If sometime we mess up in life we should always go back and fix it because it may affect us in life later on. An example that I can give about this is like if sometime you cheat on a test that you have no idea what it is about you may pass the class with a good score. Therefore people are going to think you are really smart and later on in life you are not going to be able to prove that you are smart only because you cheated on that one test. As you can see choosing the right is one of the best things you can do.

When you tell one lie it leads to another
                     Paul Hatch

When you tell one lie it leads to another

so you lie and lie without trying
So you tell two lies to cover each other
and each lie you tell will keep
Then you tell three lies and, oh brother.                    Multiplying
You’re in trouble up to your ears!               Till the whole wide world will know
So you tell four lies to try to protect you                      you’re lying
Then you tell five lies so folks won’t suspect           that you’ll be
                             You                                                  suspected
                                                                                       Detected
Then you tell six lies and you’ll collect                         Rejected
A lie filled with worries and fears                                Neglected
Cause you can’t remember how many lies                     Disliked
                      You've told                                          and you should!
And half the things you say aren't true        when you lie, you’re closing the door
And sometime you’ll slip up, you'll trip up            on everything good
                           And then

Whatever will you become?

“When you tell one lie, it leads to another.”
               Paul Hatch
     Always speak the truth

Reflection: I agree with what Paul Hatch is saying in this quote. When someone lies it would be easy for them to do it again. Once a person lies for the first time they keep doing it until they get used to it and they won’t stop. There may be incidents when you lie and in able for people to believe your lie you have to tell many lies at once. Lying is not something right to do and people shouldn't be lying ever. You have to always speak the truth. Even if the truth is embarrassing or it might hurt you have to always speak the truth. Most of the times lying hurts you more than saying the truth. An example of this is if you run over a kid accidentally. The right thing to do is to stay there and explain what happened. The worst that can happen to you is go to jail for not a long time. On the other hand if you try to get away with it they will find you and it would be worst for you.

          The 3 Questions

1.                        Can people trust me to do what is right?  Yes

2.                        Am I committed to doing my

very best?  Yes

3.                        Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?  Yes

            Lou Holtz

“I f the answers to these questions are YES, there is no way you can fail.”
Reflection: In my opinion I think that Lou Holtz is right with what he is saying in this quote. If you can be trusted that is really good people think good about you. If I am always committed to doing my very best it means that I succeed in many things that I do. If I treat people the way I want to be treated it means that if I treat people with respect I will get respect in return. These three things show that you are not going to fail in life you are going to succeed.

Add a picture:

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

In my opinion I think that I wouldn’t want to be a radiologist. The reason why I wouldn’t want to be a radiologist is because I think that I would get bored of it really fast. It is a good career to take but I don’t think that it is something that I would want to do. I think that I would want to do something more interesting like being a doctor.

Student Success Statement

           Physical Fitness
“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body; it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.”

                 President John F. Kennedy

In my opinion I think that president Kennedy is right. I think that he is right because if you are not healthy you are not going to be able to do things in life. If you are not healthy it means that your body is not healthy and with your body not being healthy your mind would not work the same as if it was healthy. In the other hand when your body is healthy you would be clearer from your mind and your body would start functioning correctly.

Add a picture:

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

In my opinion I think that I would want to be a dermatologist. The reason why I would want to be a dermatologist is because I have always dreamed to become something in the medical field. A dermatologist earns a lot of money and I would want to work somewhere where I would earn a lot of money. I know that it takes a good amount of time in college but at the end I think that it would be worth it.
