Some of their duties are to assess clients health needs and diet. They also have to counsel patients on their nutrition and there healthy eating habits. They develop meal plans and evaluate the effect of the meal plans and if needed they may change the plans to something that would work better with the patient. They also keep up with the latest nutritional service research. They do many more things.

Education: To become a registered dietitian you are supposed to have at least a bachelor’s degree at a U.S. regionally accredited university or college. There also has to be course work that has to be approved by the Accreditation council for education in nutrition and dietetics. Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?
In my opinion I think that a registered dietitian would be a really good career. You have to know many things and go to college for some years but it would be worth it because they pay really good. It would also help you in your life because this way you would be able to see the things that are good to eat and you would take care more of yourself. You would also discover more tricks to being healthy.
